300 hour Alignment & Therapeutic Practice Yoga Teacher Training

Alpesh Yoga’s unique teacher training course, is a Yoga Alliance approved residential and non-residential 300-hour programme.

Our course runs over 28 days, to give you time to fully engage in the teaching and learning experience.

Our 300-hour ttc will give you a strong yogic practice as well as a clear understanding of yoga anatomy, structural alignment of the physical body through asana practice, how alignment has therapeutic benefits, and how to use a range of props.

This innovative course has been created by Alpesh Patwari, who brings a new approach to training teachers.  Focusing primarily on the healing properties of yoga, Alpesh’s Alignment Yoga Therapy course teaches students how yoga can work for everyone. Whether they are young or old, healthy or infirm, able bodied or disabled. 

On this training you will learn how to precisely guide your own students to deepen and improve their practice. You will be taught that to work your student’s bodies with constant and intense practice will allow them to achieve beyond their abilities.

Small groups allow our teachers to give you the attention you need to feel confident when teaching after your graduation.

Yoga is excellent for the body and mind. However not all postures (asanas) and breathing methods (pranayama) are good for us at all times.  As teachers, we must keep in mind the age, health and fitness of our students.

Here at Alpesh Yoga, on our unique course, you will learn to think about how the strengths and physical limitations of your students affect their practice. 

You will learn how to target areas, align, adjust, use of props, and modifications with all students, while understanding about the individual differences and contraindications.

A yoga contraindication is a condition that can lead to certain asanas or pranayamas hurting the practitioner.  As teachers we need to understand that while some postures can be of benefit to some, the same movements can hurt another.  Here at Alpesh Yoga we understand that everybody is different.
